Maria E. Marrufo "Sanchez" died Monday, April 22, 2019 in Muleshoe, Texas at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 11 days. She was born July 11, 1943 in Rodeo, Durango, Mexico to Fransisco Sanchez and Amalia Romero. She married Reynaldo Marrufo in Rodeo on May 18, 1961.
Maria was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Muleshoe. She loved gardening and flowers, especially her rose bushes. She also treasured time spent cooking for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Reynaldo in 2008; her parents; two daughters; two brothers; and a sister.
Maria is survived by her two sons, Roberto Marrufo of Lubbock, Texas and Manuel Marrufo of Muleshoe, Texas; her three daughters, Hilda Gutierrez and her husband, Guillermo, Vickie Godinez and her husband, Luis of Lazbuddie, Texas and Rosalinda Perea and her husband, Carlos of Lazbuddie, Texas; her sister, Manuela Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her two brothers, Elias Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Urbano Sanchez of Mexico; seventeen grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
